There are some controversial passages
in the story ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.’ But what is a controversial passage
in the first place you may ask? Well it is a passage that has two sides to a story.
Like for example, when something is said or happens, there maybe two sides to the
story when for example if a parent says something that he/she thinks is correct
and the child disagrees. In ‘The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” there were a lot of
controversial passages.
So in this book
Tom gets in trouble a lot or at least just stays in trouble. “Never you mind, Tom.
You know if I say it’s nice, it’s nice.”(435 of 3271 on the kindle) This is a controversial
passage because Tom and Mary have different opinions on the tackle, Mary says
its nice yet Tom says it’s not nice. “The visitors wee given the highest seat of
honor, and as soon as Mr. Walters’ speech was finished, he introduced them to the
school.”(509 of 3271 on the kindle) The reason why this is a controversial passage
because it was visitors against the already members.
