In a story the author tries to tell the story to really teach a lesson. It may be banned but still can teach you a lesson. Yet there are many other things that make this book teach a lesson which the author is trying to covey.
In the story "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" the author tried to convey a message about something like shame it sounds like to me. It says "Tom was tugging at a bottom-hole and looking sheepish. He blushed now and his eyes fell. Mr. Walters heart sank within him." (page 554 of 3271 ) This passage shows that this story shouldn't be banned. Reason being is because there is nothing wrong here. All it shows is that you wouldn't ever fell shamefully.
