A controversial passage is a passage that shows a conflict between two or more things. But it is just not a conflict but its basically an opinion on something that happened or was said. You could really find an controversial passage anywhere you look. It could be things that are being said or has been said or may have been brought up. In the book “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” there were a ton of examples of a controversial passage.
So here are just a few of examples of an controversial passage. One would be, “And above it all the great man sat and beamed a majestic judicial smile upon all the house, and warmed himself in the sun of his own grandeur-for he was “showing off,” too.” (524 of 3271 on the kindle) To me this really shows that a controversial passage could be between your self, like this one for example.
